In May, Gu Yukun, executive deputy general manager of the Tank brand, issued a document saying that the Tank 300 diesel version and the Tank 400 gasoline version are expected to promote this plan in the form of co-creation.

According to reports in early August, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T longitudinally mounted engine . Like thediesel version, it will be marketed globally and is expected to cost more than 250,000 yuan. In the latest application picture, the tank has declared a diesel version, which is equipped with a 2.4T turbocharged diesel engine.

In terms of appearance, the new car is basically the same as the current model, mainly with slight adjustments in some details. The overall design is built in the mecha style of the tank family, and the new car will not be equipped with a charging port or battery pack. The strong lines paired with the wide wheel eyebrows once again emphasize the futuristic feel of the entire design. Supplemented by the decorative components and tail fins at the rear of the vehicle, the Tank 400 maximizes the combination of mecha and off-road vehicles.
